Places to Visit
The Duomo Square and the Duomo Cathedral in Milan are the business card of the Italian city and the central attraction of the city. The Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery connects Duomo Square to Scala Square, and is shaped by the intersection of two streets, which form an octagon in the central part covered by an iron dome.
The Teatro alla Scala used to be and still is the home of Italian composers such as Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti and Verdi, and by many, it is considered the most famous opera house in the world. One of the most attractive tourist places in Milan is the Sforzesco Castle, one of the most imposing monuments in the city and a symbol of historical moments: sad and happy. The Castle connects Sempione Park, formerly part of the castle garden and used only by the Royal family.
